How does the find the number challenge work?
In the paper version, write the numbers 1–50 at different sizes and angles across a page. Call out a number, then race to find it. Spot 50 prepares the board for you.
- Start a round and read the number you're asked to find.
- Search the scattered page and tap that number.
- Keep finding numbers until you clear the page—or beat your opponent in a versus mode.

Why I built Spot 50
I first saw the challenge on TikTok. One evening, a friend started writing the board by hand so we could play. Somewhere around number 30, I wondered whether we could skip that part next time. Spot 50 is the version where we can.
Do I need an account or a download?
You can play solo or locally with a friend in your browser without an account. Online matches and leaderboard submissions need sign-in. You can also get the Android app; iOS is coming soon.
What does Spot 50 Pro include?
Pro is an optional one-time cosmetic purchase in the mobile apps. It unlocks pen sets, including three Pro-exclusive sets. Other colours can also be earned through achievements. Purchases don't change who wins.
